DocRinse is built around review before AI.
Your uploaded file or pasted text is used to create a cleaned version for that run. You review the cleaned result before choosing whether to export it or use it with AI outside DocRinse.
What DocRinse handles
- Documents or text you upload or paste.
- Detected private-detail categories and replacement summaries.
- Optional feedback you submit about a run.
- Payment session details from Stripe when you buy a paid run or plan.
Full document workflows send the original file to the DocRinse backend at api.docrinse.com over HTTPS for that review run. The public site runs on Netlify, the backend runs on Railway, and paid checkout is handled by Stripe.
DocRinse is not a long-term vault. Temporary review runs expire after about 15 minutes, and local audit records use hashes, settings, and counts rather than the original file.
What to review
Scanned and image-based files can be harder to verify than text-based documents. Some scanned files may have limited export options.
